FM101 Community Ed (Oct 15 – Nov 19)

In this class you will learn the process of filmmaking from start to finish, from story structure and scene composition to camera settings and post-production techniques. This is an introductory course, so no prior knowledge or experience of filmmaking/videography is necessary. This class is ideal for anyone who is interested in making videos but also may appeal to those just interested in learning more about how a film is put together. The class will be somewhat tailored to the interests of its students. Each class period will include lectures on aspects of filmmaking, analysis of clips from professional films, class discussions, and occasional hands-on activities.

The class will run on Tuesdays, October 15 to November 19, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Ages 9th grade to adult are welcome to participate.
