STRANGER MYSTERIES

A proof-of-concept multimedia experience I designed and performed in 2022 at an open mic event in Rhinelander, WI incorporating live performance, projections and dynamic lighting.

NEW MEDIA STAGE

As a part of the 2024 Project North Festival in downtown Rhinelander, I curated the “new media building” in our community room at the Hilgermann Center featuring interactive multimedia art installations and performances which included a collaboration between myself as an experimental musician and Barnplotter, a projection mapping artist from Stevens Point.

YEAR ONE EXPERIENCE

A fully immersive experience I designed utilizing 3 projectors stitched together into a seamless 360 environment designed in honor of the first anniversary of the Hilgermann Center.

THE CYBERNETIC FOREST

An immersive multimedia short film I created for the Project North Festival in 2022 that explores the tenuous and complex relationship between technology and nature. It incorporated projected video, dynamic lighting, surround sound and an original soundtrack.

UP NEAR THE EDGES

A multimedia story I wrote, designed and performed at an open mic event in Rhinelander in 2019. It incorporated cinematic projections, sound effects, and live music composed in real time by collaborator Daleth Mountjoy.

A MOMENT JUST TO LIVE

A live multimedia performance of an original song performed as a submission to the 2023 Tiny Desk Contest.

THE WAYTHROUGH

An art installation I designed for the inaugural Project North Festival in 2019. It was an immersive experience meditating on the beauty of the Northwoods of Wisconsin and it incorporated projections, lights and surround sound.

THE SOUNDSCAPE

An interactive art installation I created for the 2023 Project North Festival that focused on the dynamic nature of sound by providing attendees multiple ways of interacting with the exhibit to contribute their own creativity to the ever-evolving melodic soundscape of the room.

COMMUNITY PROJECTIONS

A recurring community-driven art installation I curated for the Project North Festival that was projected onto a building in the center of the festival grounds using submissions designed by festival attendees.

ESCAPE ROOMS

I have designed and run multiple escape rooms in a variety of unusual spaces such as an art gallery, a church classroom, and a spare room in my house. I’ve included them as examples of highly interactive community installation art.
