THE TEAM

Director – Nate Sheppard

Nate is a Wisconsin-based independent filmmaker whose work explores memory, place, and connection. His background in documentary shorts and artistic films makes him uniquely suited to this project. He brings a grounded, emotionally resonant visual style and a gift for working with archival material. His previous work has garnered several awards such as Best Documentary from The Basin Short Film Festival, People’s Choice Award from the Door County Film Festival, and Best Regional Film from the Beloit International Film Festival.

Producer/Writer – Paul Ji Hoon Lee

Paul is a Korean American visual artist, writer, and emerging documentary producer with a deep interest in overlooked legacies. He brings sensitivity and historical rigor to the story of Franklin Boggs and is leading outreach to curators, students, and surviving family members. He is a co-founder of Rotten Tomatoes and an Associate Producer of the feature film, Meeting You, Meeting Me.
